Terms & Conditions for Online Fee Payment
By proceeding with the online payment, I acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Purpose of Payment
This online payment facility is provided by Bharati Naiya Memorial School (BNMS) for the payment of school fees and other charges authorized by the School.
2. Eligibility
I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age or otherwise legally authorized to make this payment on behalf of the student.
3. Verification of Student Information
I understand that it is my responsibility to verify the student's name, admission number, class, fee details, and payment amount before proceeding with the transaction. Bharati Naiya Memorial School shall not be responsible for any payment made against incorrect information entered by me.
4. Accepted Payment Methods
Payments may be made through the payment options made available on the payment gateway, including debit cards, credit cards, net banking, UPI, digital wallets, or any other authorized payment methods.
5. Payment Gateway Services
The online payment facility is provided through a secure third-party payment gateway. Bharati Naiya Memorial School does not store debit card details, credit card details, CVV, UPI PIN, internet banking passwords, or any other confidential banking credentials.
The School shall not be responsible for any interruption, delay, failure, or inability to complete a transaction due to:
- Internet connectivity issues;
- Banking network failures;
- Payment gateway downtime;
- Technical or system errors beyond the School's control.
6. Payment Confirmation
A payment shall be considered successful only when:
- a Transaction Reference Number (Transaction ID) is generated; and
- a Payment Confirmation message is displayed.
Parents are advised to download, print, or save the payment receipt for future reference.
7. Failed or Pending Transactions
If the payment amount is debited from my bank account but the payment status is not confirmed, I shall not initiate another payment immediately. I will first verify the transaction status and contact the School Accounts Department.
The School shall not be responsible for failed transactions arising from:
- incorrect payment details entered by the user;
- insufficient account balance;
- banking or network failures; or
- payment gateway interruptions.
8. Convenience Fee / Processing Charges
Any convenience fee or payment gateway processing charge, if applicable, shall be displayed before the transaction is completed. Such charges are collected by the payment service provider and are non-refundable.
9. Fees Once Paid
School fees are generally non-refundable and non-transferable except as permitted under the School's Refund Policy.
Refund requests arising from:
- duplicate payments;
- excess payments; or
- technical transaction failures,
shall be subject to verification and approval by the School Management.
Approved refunds shall normally be processed within 7–10 business days, subject to the policies of the concerned bank or payment service provider.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If I believe that any payment has been made in error or without authorization, I shall first contact Bharati Naiya Memorial School before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute through my bank or card issuer.
The School reserves the right to suspend access to the student's online portal until such dispute is resolved.
11. Privacy of Information
Personal information collected during the payment process, including student and parent details, shall be used solely for:
- fee collection;
- accounting and record maintenance;
- communication with parents/guardians; and
- compliance with applicable laws.
12. Accuracy of Payment Details
I confirm that the payment instrument used belongs to me or is being used with proper authorization. I further confirm that all information provided by me is true, accurate, and complete.
13. School's Right to Correct Errors
If any fee amount is displayed incorrectly due to a technical, clerical, or system error, Bharati Naiya Memorial School reserves the right to correct such error and recover any shortfall or refund any excess amount, as applicable.
14. No Admission or Academic Guarantee
Payment of fees does not by itself guarantee admission, promotion, examination eligibility, issuance of certificates, or continuation of enrolment. All such matters shall remain subject to the School's Rules and Regulations.
15. Force Majeure
The School shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, or failure in providing online payment services arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, cyclones, fire, strikes, government actions, internet outages, power failures, cyber incidents, or banking network disruptions.
16. Electronic Records
The electronic records maintained by Bharati Naiya Memorial School regarding fee payments shall constitute valid evidence of such transactions and shall be considered final unless proven otherwise.
17. Jurisdiction
Any dispute relating to online fee payments shall first be referred to the School for resolution. If the matter remains unresolved, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
18. Modification of Terms
Bharati Naiya Memorial School reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. The revised version shall become effective immediately upon publication on the School website.
19. Acceptance of Terms
I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy of Bharati Naiya Memorial School. I further confirm that all information provided by me is correct and that I am authorized to make this payment.
